PSA User Group 2010

We are pleased to announce the dates and site for PSA’s annual user group for 2010. We have scheduled with the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX. The meeting would begin Tuesday evening September 7 with registration and a reception. Wednesday would be a full day of meetings and breakout sessions. Wednesday would include breakfast, lunch and supper on the PSA tab. Thursday would include breakfast and morning meetings concluding at right before noon. We are working on an agenda for the breakout sessions but the track record indicates we will have good speakers and topics. With user participation, we could work on having a user defined session or open discussion forum for one of the sessions. That would require individuals from several companies to step forward and be willing to serve on a dais. We are in the early stages of defining topics so if you have suggestions please get those to us in the next week or so for consideration.
Rooms are very reasonable group rate of $135.00 per night. I have reserved a block of 30 rooms that will be available at that rate. I can possibly reserve more in the next few weeks but PSA is responsible for any unfilled rooms so I would like to know how many persons might be attending from each company. I understand without an agenda or list of topics it might be hard to determine who should attend but if you could estimate a base count it would be most helpful.
Registration for the conference will run $350.00 per attendee prior to July 15 and $450.00 beginning July 16.
For those who have never attended a PSA user group, we bring in outside speakers from the various venues to discuss current topics. We have had speakers from American Roamer, Syniverse, OSG Billing Services, Rural Cellular Association, InterOp, Pyramid Marketing, Axigent Technologies, Globecomm Network Services, etc. We can also provide speakers from within PSA to address concerns or topics of group interest. The information provided will be current and engaging. We have extended invitations to several speakers within the industry and are awaiting their response.
Please let me know as soon as you can on potential number of attendees from your company and any topics of interest you would like to see addressed. I would hope to have the specifics to you by the end of March.
